UPI high-performance and heavy-duty wear resistant systems form a seamless watertight barrier over concrete and plywood surfaces which protects the substrate against premature deterioration caused by moisture penetration. These high impact and abrasion resistant systems can withstand varying levels of pedestrian traffic and are suitable for a wide variety of applications. This includes private balconies or upper-level walkways with moderate pedestrian traffic to entrances of a commercial or industrial facility that experience heavier levels of foot traffic.
Pedestrian structures have unique waterproofing problems and requirements. As a result, a combination or variation of UPI polyurethane pedestrian traffic bearing systems may be required to achieve certain performance objectives.
